Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

2. In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, chopped pecans, and melted butter for the crust. Mix until well combined.

3. Press the crust mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan, making sure it is evenly distributed and compacted.

4. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let it cool.

5. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it just begins to simmer.

6. Place the chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let it sit for 1-2 minutes.

8. Pour the chocolate ganache over the cooled crust in the springform pan. Smooth out the top with a spatula.

9. Refrigerate the tort for at least 4 hours or until the ganache is set.

10. Before serving, garnish with whipped cream and pecan halves.
