Servings: 4

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

- 2 tbsp olive oil

- 1 tsp chili powder

- 1 tsp paprika

- 1/2 tsp cumin

- 1/2 tsp garlic powder

- 1/2 tsp onion powder

- Salt and pepper to taste

- 8 small flour or corn tortillas

- 1 cup shredded lettuce

- 1 cup diced tomatoes

- 1/2 cup chopped cilantro

- Lime wedges, for serving

For the Avocado Cream Sauce:

- 1 ripe avocado

- 1/4 cup sour cream

- 1/4 cup mayonnaise

- 1 clove garlic, minced

- 2 tbsp lime juice

- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. In a bowl, combine the chili powder, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Toss the shrimp in the spice mixture until well coated.

2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until they are pink and cooked through. Remove from heat and set aside.

3. In a blender or food processor, combine the avocado, sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning as needed.

4. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave according to package instructions.

5. To assemble the tacos, place a spoonful of avocado cream sauce on each tortilla, top with shrimp, lettuce, tomatoes, and cilantro. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the top.

6. Serve the spicy shrimp tacos with extra avocado cream sauce on the side and lime wedges for squeezing.

Special Tips or Variations:

- For a spicier kick, add some hot sauce or chopped jalapeños to the avocado cream sauce.

- You can also customize these tacos with your favorite toppings such as diced onions, shredded cheese, or salsa.

- If you prefer a lighter version, you can use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream and mayonnaise in the avocado cream sauce.
