Recipe Title: Walnut Raisin Cinnamon Rolls

Brief Description: Elevate your breakfast or brunch with these decadent walnut raisin cinnamon rolls that are a perfect blend of sweet and nutty flavors.

Servings: 18 cinnamon rolls

Prep Time: 30 minutes

Cook Time: 1 hour

Ingredients:

For the dough:

- 1 cup warm milk

- 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast

- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

- 2 large eggs

- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted

- 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1 tsp salt

For the filling:

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

- 1 cup brown sugar

- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon

- 1/2 cup raisins

- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

For the cream cheese frosting:

- 4 oz cream cheese, softened

- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

- 1 cup powdered sugar

- 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

1. In a small bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.

2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, and melted butter. Add the yeast mixture and mix well.

3. Gradually add flour and salt to the wet ingredients, stirring until a dough forms.

4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.

5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a baking dish.

6. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a large rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.

7. Spread softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle brown sugar, cinnamon, raisins, and walnuts evenly.

8. Starting from one long edge, tightly roll the dough into a log. Cut the log into 18 equal pieces.

9. Place the rolls in the prepared baking dish, cover with a towel, and let them rise for another 30 minutes.

10. Bake the cinnamon rolls for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

11. While the rolls are baking, prepare the cream cheese frosting by beating cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.

12. Once the cinnamon rolls are done, let them cool slightly before spreading the cream cheese frosting on top.

13. Serve warm and enjoy!

Special Tips or Variations:

- You can customize the filling by adding other ingredients like chopped pecans or dried cranberries.

- To make the process easier, you can prepare the dough the night before and let it rise in the refrigerator overnight. Just bring it to room temperature before rolling out and baking.

- These cinnamon rolls are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Just warm them up before serving.
